Audit Trail
- FileVision audits every action on a document, including
who opens, prints, changes, reviews or deletes it. The audit
trail cannot be altered or tampered with and would therefore
support evidence of a document's integrity.
Version Control - All versions
of a document are recorded and accessible to FileVision. No
matter how much a document evolves, the "original" version
can be accessed complete with date and time stamps. Users,
dates and times are recorded against each and every version/change
of a document.
Backup - FileVision allows
for automated backup routines using compress database files.
Provided that the company follows a backup policy, the whole
system's integrity is maintained.
Archive
- FileVision allows for documents to be "archived" off the
sytem based on automated routines set up by the client. This
is all audited through the Audit Trail. Archived documents
can be retrieved if required for evidence. |
System
Security - FileVision has comprehensive customisable
system security. Whole areas of the system, as well as specific
functionality can be disallowed, to individuals or groups
of users, therefore providing the ability to disallow modification
or deletion (for example). The system can monitor, and report
(by email if required) attempts at unauthorised access.
Document Security - Document,
File, and Cabinet security provides impenetrable locking to
users, or groups of users to prevent unauthorised access at
the document level. Any changes to a document's security level
are recorded by the Audit Trail.
Encryption
- FileVision encrypts all scanned images into its own secure
format. Once filed in FileVision, the images can only be viewed
with FileVision's viewer, and cannot be opened by any other
image manipulation software. This guarantees the integrity
of the Scanned document image. The only alterations that can
be made to a scanned image are (and they are fully audited)
annotation layers (such as highlights and post-it notes) and
appended or added pages. |
